Z dwojga złego, będąc ponownie w tych rejonach Tajlandii, wybralibyśmy na wypoczynek tę wyspę zamiast okolic Ao Nang.Koh Lanta ma ok. 10 rozpoznawalnych plaż. Cóż…Mając w perspektywie kilka godzin podróży i fakt, że promy na Koh Lanta nie pływają przez całą dobę, musieliśmy zmusić się do powrotu. Okazało się, że przeoczyliśmy po drodze kilkaset metrów wcześniej punkt poboru opłat. Nie wyczuwa się tutaj jednak napięcia znanego np. L'argument fait son effet et Patrick et Coumba se laissent tenter. Jak na porę suchą przystało… spadł deszcz. Dotarliśmy do przystani Hua Hin.
Według mnie, dłuższy pobyt może być po prostu nudny, a każda plaża będzie wyglądała tak samo.
Sama wyspa nie oferuje aż tak wielu atrakcji jak bliźniaczo położone Krabi czy Phuket.
Z naszej perspektywy i przejechanych blisko 60 km na wyspie, było to prawdziwe życie, jakże inne od polskiego.Jeśli wybierasz się na Koh Lanta i szukasz ucieczki od cywilizacji, ale z większością jej dobrodziejstw nie chcesz tracić kontaktu, to południowe tereny będą prawie idealne.

Na szczęście nie musieliśmy wytwarzać ognia aby coś na nim ugotować, ponieważ nieopodal znajdowała się miła knajpka.W ciepłym i wilgotnym klimacie niezbyt sprawdzi się suchy prowiant w postaci kanapek.
Daliśmy zatem wyspie takie mocne, zasłużone 6/10.
